A new tool has been launched for integrating a range of ancillary corporate travel costs in with air fares and transport outgoings at the booking stage.
On-demand Employee Spend Management services provider Concur has announced the launch of its Travel & Expense in EMEA programme, claiming to fuse travel booking and expense reporting into one ultimate database. Currently on show at London's Business Travel Show, Concur's programme claims to break ground by automating the entire process of flight booking, the expense reporting, auditing and reimbursement in a "seamless" on-demand service.
Rajeev Singh, president and chief operating officer for Concur, said: "We've taken One Touch Business Travel from a visionary concept to market reality in just one year. Today we are delivering on the promise we made to our clients across the globe, launching Concur Travel & Expense with powerful industry-first innovations that usher in a new way of managing employee spend."
Similarly to global distribution systems (GDS), the product promises the wide access to broad travel booking options that is key to business travel – while distinguishing itself by looking to integrate expense management.
