Spanish airline clickair and German carrier Germanwings have announced a new joint venture which will allow passengers to access more flights online.

The cross-selling agreement will see selected flights between Spain and Germany offered to passengers using either airline's website to book travel. It is hoped the move will increase the number of destinations offered on each of their respective websites.

When searching for flights on the clickair website passengers will be presented with its destinations as well as cities served by Germanwings, and vice versa. The flight options will depend on the routes offered by the airlines and will change depending on the airport of origin selected by passengers.

Clickair recently launched an online multi-reservation initiative to go beyond point-to-point bookings and provide affordable combination flights in one booking.

The Iberian airline recently added to their routes tally with the announcement of a London Gatwick to Vigo and Valencia to Dubrovnik services. The airline already flies to Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, La Coruna and Bilbao from the UK.
