Ryanair has added a new service from Birmingham International Airport to the French city of Marseille. The new route is one of the 20 planned additions from Ryanair at Birmingham which started in April with flights to Gerona and Pisa.
Flights to Marseille will run three times a week and will be joined by services to Oslo, Stockholm, Gdansk, Bydgoszcz, Rzeszow, Dinard, Porto and Trapani in Sicily by the end of July.
Peter Vella, business development director of Birmingham International Airport, said: "Marseille is just the start of 20 routes that Ryanair has already announced from Birmingham this year, with even more to come for the winter
The majority of Ryanair's new routes will start in June and with destinations like Oslo, Trieste, Gdansk, Biarritz it will be a busy summer here at the airport."
Marseille has also seen expansions from Ryanair with the carrier adding domestic flights to Paris from the terminal last month.
