Jetstar launches site dedicated to family travel

Low cost Australian based airline Jetstar has announced the launch of an innovative website dedicated to family travel.

Jetstar.com/familytravel will offer a host of resources for those travelling with children, including holiday tips and destination advice.

There will also be advice for expectant mothers and information on what to expect when flying as well as advice for kids on coping with their parents.

Jetstar Chief Executive Officer, Alan Joyce told Peanuts! Online that a key feature of the website would be the 'universal packing list' which allows parents to itemise the essential items a family may need for a holiday.

He said that the idea behind the site was to Jetstar create a resource that helped parents, families and children to plan and organise their holiday.
