New transfer service for Wizz passengers
Wednesday 28 May 2008
Passengers taking
Wizz Air flights to Bucharest will be able to use the airline's new transfer services to
Cluj-Napoca International Airport and
Bucharest Baneasa.
Coaches for Cluj-Napoca will run from Piata Unirii in Cluj, with transport to Aurel Vlaicu International, widely known as Bucharest Baneasa, departing from Piata Romana in the city centre.
Timetables for the coaches will be adjusted to coincide with Wizz Air's flight arrivals and departures. Tickets for the transfers cost €13 return to Bucharest Baneasa and €10 return for Cluj.
Cluj-Napoca became the airline's second base in Romania after Bucharest Baneasa, with a total of 16 international and one domestic service operating in the country.
Meanwhile, Wizz Air Ukraine recently announced new international
flights to Kiev. The airline will introduce
flights from London Luton,
Milan Bergamo and
Dortmund in July, subject to regulatory approval.
The international flights will join domestic Ukraine services from
Kiev to Lviv,
Odessa and
Simferopol, which will also start in July.
