Low-cost carrier
Ryanair has announced a new service from
London Stansted Airport to the German city of
Zweibrucken.
Flights to Zweibrucken will start in October, with the route expected to be popular with horse riders.
Bridget Dowling, spokesperson for the airline, said: "Ryanair now serves 103 routes from
London Stansted with the guaranteed lowest fares, and this new route to Zweibrucken will connect London and Western Germany from just £26 one way."
She explained that the destination, on the banks of the Schwarzbach river, is home to one of Germany's "biggest stud farms, and horse enthusiasts can enjoy stallion parades followed by a trip down the 'Rosenweg' rose-filled promenade."
As well as boosting
flights to Germany, Ryanair has also added several domestic services within the country.
Flights will operate between
Frankfurt and
Berlin, with a similar domestic schedule offering
flights from Marseille to Paris for passengers in France.
