Delta Air Lines launches a new route from Atlanta to Stockholm

Passengers looking for cheap flights from America to Sweden now have a new option with the launch of Delta airline flights between Atlanta and Stockholm.

The new non-stop service operates between the world's largest passenger hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Stockholm’s Arlanda International Airport.

The flights from Atlanta operate six times a week and run using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft seating up to 214 passengers.

Glen Hauenstein, Delta’s executive vice president of network planning and revenue management, said: "Delta's international expansion is connecting the United States to more key global business destinations, like Sweden’s financial center in Stockholm."

The service to Stockholm is just one of nine Delta routes the airline is launching in June: Cheap flights are now also available from New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Georgetown, Guyana and Cape Town, South Africa via Dakar, Senegal.

In cooperation with joint-venture partner Air France airline, Delta has also added a fourth daily flight between its Atlanta hub and Air France's Paris hub.
