Russian flights for winter from Air Berlin
Friday 13 June 2008
Air Berlin has revealed that
flights to Russia will form a key part of its winter schedule for 2008.
A new Saturday service will be added to the existing route from Berlin to Moscow in November. This will mean passengers can choose a daily flight to the Russian capital over the winter season.
From Dusseldorf, Air Berlin will operate
flights to Moscow-Domodedovo Airport six times a week, with services running everyday except Saturday.
Passengers in Munich will also be able to fly to Moscow six times a week, with Air Berlin running cheap flights between the two cities everyday apart from Sunday.
These flights will run in tandem with the existing nonstop flights to St Petersburg already operated by the carrier.
This announcement follows recent news from the Air Berlin airline that
flights to Helsinki and Copenhagen will increase later this year.
The carrier will double the number of flights to Helsinki from Dusseldorf and increase
flights to Denmark from Berlin-Tegel by the same amount, offering passengers a morning and evening travel option.
