Ryanair has announced new
flights to Prague from Birmingham International Airport.
The airline will launch the new route in October, to coincide with the introduction of nine other new flights at Birmingham.
This announcement follows news from last week that Ryanair plans to launch several flights from Birmingham over the next year as part of the terminal's new status at the carrier's latest European base.
Commenting on the flights to Prague, Ryanair airline spokesperson Bridget Dowling said: "The people of the West Midlands have a lot to celebrate this month as Ryanair announces a 10th new route from Birmingham.
"The new flight to Prague which starts on October 26th will operate five times weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and will carry an additional 70,000 passengers p. a. to and from Birmingham."
In July, the airline will add
flights from Birmingham to Bratislava, Bydgoszcz, Gdansk, Olbia, Perpignan, Stockholm and Trapani.
