easyJet to add new Morocco routes in October
Wednesday 30 July 2008
easyJet will be adding two new
flights to Morocco in time for the winter season.
The new
cheap flights will depart from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and will be launched on October 27th 2008.
Routes will land at two of Morocco's most popular tourist destinations, Tangier and Casablanca.
The new services will be launched prior to the carrier's other recently announced services to Rome's Fiumicino Airport from both London Gatwick and Milan Malpensa.
These services will begin in the following month.
easyJet is one of a number of airlines that recently announced that profits had been hit by the rising cost of oil, reports Sky News.
Credit Suisse analyst, Gerald Khoo, suggested in an interview with the news agency that the carrier may need to cut capacity on some routes during the winter to combat soaring costs.
