IcelandAir has announced an overhaul of its in-flight services.

The carrier will launch its new-look Boeing 757 aircraft, New IcelandAir, with new seats, entertainment systems and more legroom.

Adaptations have been introduced across all three economy, economy plus and Saga class cabins.

Passengers will now be able to take advantage of a new high-quality touch screen in-flight entertainment system, which they can enjoy on new leather upholstery seats.

Back supports have even been subject to a new ergonomic redesign that allows for extra space for passengers.

Passengers in Saga class can also benefit from swivel-tables integrated into the arm rest.

The airline introduced new services to Toronto earlier this year, taking its total number of destinations on its schedule to 24 across Europe and North America.

IcelandAir recently announced its intention to extend its winter flight suspension to include services from Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport between October and May.

The carrier ordinarily suspends services from the US airport between January and February, but has decided to extend the suspension amid concern over higher oil prices.
